Delete your 2beShared account

You can delete your 2beShared account and all data linked to it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open the 2beShared app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
- Scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Delete your user profile.
- Confirm with Delete Profile.
Your account is deleted immediately, and the data listed below is removed from our servers within a few minutes.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, send an email to info@2beshared.com with the subject "Delete my 2beShared account". Send it from the email address of your account and include your @handle if you have one.
To make sure nobody can delete someone else's account, we only act on requests we can verify: we reply to the email address registered with the account and delete it once you confirm. We process requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (email address, sign-in method)
- Your profile and @handle
- Your whole library: links, videos, places, notes, tags and public items
- Your interests and recommendations
- Your friend connections, follows, followers and blocks
- Your reminder settings and push notification tokens
What may be kept
- Items you already shared with friends or via share links stay with their recipients as copies in their libraries, unless you delete those shares before deleting your account.
- Reports you filed about other items may be kept for as long as needed to handle them.
